- The shrines of the prophet associates
The
city of Salt and its surroundings provide a home for many
of the religious figures that have shaped Islamic history.
These shrines are mentioned in the Quran and they include
the shrine of prophet Shuaib that lies in the Wadi Shuaib
area. Prophet Shuaib comes from the Medien tribe and is the
father of prophet Mosses's wife.
In
the western part of the city located on a hill over looking
the valley of Goor lies the shrine of prophet Uosha'a. Prophet
Uosha'a was the associate of prophet Mussa and was also his
successor. He was known for leading the Isralili Asbat on
a battle to concur the land of Jerusalem and Palestine.
To
the South West of Salt in an area called khurbit Ayoub lie
the remains of an old building that is known to be the burial
ground for Prophet Ayoub.
Inside
the city of Salt and named after the man it symbolizes lies
the shrine of Khader peace of upon him. He was named Khader
( green ) because everywhere he prayed turned green , the
gathering place where Khader and prophet Mussa met was Bahrain
complex .
