Al-Yazedeyah

It was said it was named in that name due it well known Muslim Leader Yazeed son of Muawiyah that once stayed in it , the town is new , it was founded only 50 years ago , it is at a height of 850-920 M above the Sea , it is located at the North East of Salt , and is 8.1 km from it . The total Area of it is 1.083 km2 , that is 1.4 % of the total area of Greater Salt , its population is 900 people , Committee village was founded in 1972 , and became a Municipality in 2001.
